What’s the First Step?
The first step in getting Laser Skin Resurfacing in La Jolla and the surrounding San Diego area is to contact our office and schedule a consultation. During your appointment, your provider will be able to examine the area you wish to treat, as well as answer any questions about the Laser resurfacing process.
A detailed analysis of your face and skin will also be performed so that we can formulate a plan to address the issue with the most optimal results. If you agree on the treatment, you can start your first session that day, or you may work with our Patient Coordinator to book a time that best suits your needs.
If you require a more intense skin resurfacing session, you may be asked to use a topical retinoid two to three weeks before your laser procedure. This will help prepare your skin for better results.
To get your Laser Hair Removal performed sooner than later, we strongly recommend avoiding any tanning or sun for at least six weeks before your treatment. The laser targets the hair follicle, so the greater the contrast between your hair and your skin, the better the results. It will also be recommended that you shave the day before your treatment so that the laser will be able to treat the root of the follicle more easily.
