San Diego area Aesthetic Physician and Board Certified Laser Surgeon Nasrin Mani has been elevated to Sculptra Trainer
Dr. Nasrin Mani has received notification of her designation of official Trainer for Sculptra Aesthetic.
Sculptra collagen stimulation through injection was FDA approved in 2009 and has become one of the premier nonsurgical aesthetic solutions to volume loss from aging and genetic facial asymmetry. Sculptra creates a collagen response by deposition of microscopic Poly-L-Lactic Acid powder. The presence of the PLLA begins a gradual collagen build which is controlled by the number of sessions indicated for the desired outcome.
Because the process is gradual, there is no “tell-tell” evidence of treatments. The most common comment received by Sculptra users is “I don’t know what you’re doing, but you look great”. With no scarring from surgery or abrupt changes in facial contours from implants, the end results don’t require explanations, hairstyle changes or worries about looking “done”.
Trained by Dr. Rebecca Fitzgerald, notably the top Sculptra trainer both here and abroad, Dr. Mani has applied her mentored skills to become one of the top 4 Sculptra physicians in the region. “I feel very fortunate to have had the very best teacher there is,” says Dr. Mani. “I have watched transformations that defy explanation and have happily been able to adopt those skills and techniques for my own patients. It’s very exciting!
“Although other fillers have their place in wrinkle filling and volume restoration, only Sculptra functions as a pure collagen stimulator – basically instructing the skin to replace collagen lost to aging, poor health or weight loss. Facial asymmetry can be overly pronounced and in that instance, Sculptra can be used to create a more symmetrical balance. The best part? The correction is your own collagen, so the final outcome is totally, naturally “you”. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
